Musuh alami dan hama pada kapas

(Beneficial insects and pests of cotton)

This illustrated guide for farmers and extension workers in Indonesia contains details of 14 insect pests and diseases, and 21 spiders, insect predators and parasites that help control these pests. The text is written in simple Indonesian. It includes a description of the insect, its life cycle and where it can be found. Colour photographs show the insects at various stages in their life cycle to enable easy identification, the damage caused by pests, and the stage of cotton growth affected. Names in Buginese and Makassarese (languages in South Sulawesi, a major cotton-producing area) are also given.

An equivalent booklet on cacao pests and beneficials is in preparation.
