References on development communications
|
|
Click on the subjects
above to see a list of books on development communication. This list focuses on
agriculture and print media, to the neglect of health and other topics, and of
broadcast and electronic media. Please send me references to update and improve
the list (see address in footnote).
The most useful
references are marked *.
Some of the books
are intended mainly for communicators in developed countries, but may also be
useful in the developing world. Anything dated before about 1992 will not
mention computers, and anything before about 1997 will not mention the
Internet.
The English-language books in the
list are classified by subject area, but this is fairly arbitrary. Check under
related subjects for other books that may be of interest.
Click on the link next to a book description for more information and to
order a copy. Failing that, try the original publisher. The ISBNs
(international standard book numbers) are for the paperback editions. The
prices given here are subject to change. To buy a book online, you'll need a
credit card or some other way of paying (see the sites below for details).
